Wheelchair accessible swings have been specially designed to accommodate both adult and juvenile wheelchairs, even motorized wheelchairs. The platform allows the entire wheelchair to swing to & fro, thereby eliminating the need for a different wheelchair transition by the user.
The platform is made of sturdy plastisol coated steel and features a ramp for easy wheelchair access & egress. The ramp simply folds up or down on hinge and can be securely locked in a closed position with easy-to-use chain clasps.
Pull chain (sold separately) enables users to enter, propel themselves and exit on their own. The wheelchair platform can be attached to almost any frame. Platform is 32"W x 38"L, weighs 123 lbs, has 800 lb. capacity. Platform also available with permanent or portable frame. Platform with frame weighs 265 lbs. Covers 8' x 8' ground space.
