Porter Removable ImpactSafe Wall Pads offer increased shock absorption for better impact protection with the added ability to quickly remove or replace each panel. Made with dense 2" thick polyethylene foam for superior shock absorption. Meets ASTM safety standards for impact protection. Phthalate-free and GREENGUARD® certified to help protect our environment. Resistant to mildew, rot, and fire. Each pad is 2' wide and 2" thick. Each pad is bonded to 7/16" oriented strand wood board to provide a quality feel and a great look that will stand up to heavy use. The entire face of each panel is upholstered in heavy 15oz. Vinyl-coated polyester fabric. Vinyl is fire-resistant and lead and phthalate free. It has 100 psi high tensile strength yet retains a soft feel on its leather-like embossed finish. Choose from 14 color options. GREENGUARD™ certified Screened for more than 10,000 chemicals, are phthalate-free, and meet strict chemical emissions standards.
Pads measure 2' wide x 5'10" high. Requires Z-Clips (Sold separately). Z-Clips allow you to quickly remove and replace a pad as needed and offer a smooth and professional looking installation.
Frequently asked questions on ordering Z-Clips:
Wall Attachment Z-Clips: These attach to the wall. They come pre drilled. Each is 6' long. Order enough to cover twice the width covered by the padding area because one piece runs the full width on the top and the other piece runs the full width on the bottom. Each 6' piece can be cut as necessary to accommodate your width.
Panel Attachment Z-Clips: These attach to each pad/panel. Each is pre drilled and measure 1'-10" (23") long. Order 2 per pad because one goes on the top and one goes on the bottom.
Here is an ordering example that might help sort our what you need as far as pads and z-Clips: Say you order six 2'W panels to cover a 12' width. You'll need to order 4 Wall Z-Clips. Since each wall Z-Clip is 6' long, you'll receive 24' of which 12' will go on the top and 12' will go on the bottom. You'll also need 12 Panel Z-Clip pieces since each pad requires 2 panel z-Clips.
